It can also be used to schedule conferences, shift plans, training programmes, festivals and many other resource bound events in a wide range of business environments. It is the solution of choice in schools and businesses in over 80 countries and on all continents.
Mimosa's user-friendly interface prevents you from making mistakes; instead you receive useful hints, answers to what-if questions and context-sensitive help. You can choose whether you create timetables automatically or interactively and you can create them in any order you want. It has a rich set of efficient optimization tools and you can move data easily to and from other applications via numerous Clipboard selections and text file conversion tools. Its flexible data architecture allows it to easily adapt to any scheduling domain since you can define the needed resource types and calendar schema according to your own special requirements. You can easily configure these special needs through the user interface or you can apply the included templates and sample files.
The capacity of Mimosa allows you to manage up to 300,000 timetables, with 30 time slots per day in a 7-day week. You can schedule up to 255 different weekly patterns for over 8000 events (courses, exams, meetigs etc.) and resources (teachers, classrooms, equipment, etc.) in a single small file. No third-party databases or additional software is used with Mimosa in order to guarantee maximum performance.
This trial version of Mimosa allows you to use it up to 60 days.
Mimosa is built for Windows but runs also on Mac and Linux when using suitable emulators (such as Parallels, VirtualBox, VMWare Fusion or Debian/Wine).
