Designed in a modern and an already familiar Office 2007 style, this handy tool offers an array of features that will help you plan your payments in advance and know where you will be finance-wise 10 years from now. Mortgage Calculator enables users to calculate conventional and interest-only mortgages using the same intuitive tools. See the full payment plan for the period of the loan. In addition, the program supports adjustable rate mortgages and provides information on annual percentage rates with respect to the closing payments made by the borrower. Working with the program is a snap - all mortgage data are shown on the right pane of the program in the form of an expandable table. A single mouse click gives you access to any year of your mortgage and allows you to see detailed per-month information (rate, principal, interest, extra payments, total per year and remaining balance), as well as change interest rates and specify projected extra payments that will affect the loan total. The interface of the program is lightweight and flexible - you can minimize unnecessary information blocks and focus on what's really important at the moment. You can also work with multiple mortgages and easily switch among them.
The great thing about Mortgage Calculator is that it performs all calculations on-the-fly. A variety of built-in styles will enable you to change the appearance of the program to match you current OS theme.
