In addition to MediaDex Professional rich capabilities, MediaDex Professional includes some special features (Office and Photo adds-on) for those working with digital media professionally and demanding advanced and particular support of some media formats. Office Add-on is an all-encompassing component that allows you to manage entire Office documents and single slides, as well as capture text and information when cataloging. MediaDex Office Add-on application empowers you with the ability to locate letters, invoices, presentations and other Office documents quickly and easily and so allows you saving precious time - an essential attribute of an efficient organization. With Photo Add-on you can easily manage RAW image files from a wide array of digital cameras. When cataloging RAW image files, the MediaDex Professional Digital Camera RAW Filter reads and interprets, metadata from proprietary image formats defined by leading camera manufacturers, EXIF information (camera settings, shutter speed, etc.) and, depending on the camera model, annotations and GPS as well. Photo Add-on also offers all the advantages of maintaining the RAW format of images, with the flexibility of converting them to TIFF or JPEG files on-the-fly with the integrated Pixel Image Converter.
